Infinite Energy

What is Infinite Energy?

Infinite Energy is a retail energy provider operating in deregulated energy markets across the United States. It was founded in 1994 to provide natural gas to industrial customers in Florida and has since expanded into the residential natural gas markets in Georgia, New Jersey and most recently Ohio and the electricity market in Texas. Infinite Energy prides itself on its customer service and says it strives to deliver energy products in an “ethical and profitable way.” It’s particularly focused on employee wellbeing and made headlines in 2016 by pledging to pay its staff members a minimum wage of $15 an hour.

What services does Infinite Energy offer?

Infinite Energy originated as a retail natural gas supplier and that remains the bread and butter of its operations in its home state of Florida, Georgia, New Jersey and Ohio. In 2010, it branched into the deregulated electricity market in the Lone Star state. That electricity is offset by renewable electricity certificates (RECs), making it a green option.

Infinite Energy also sells protection plans, covering the cost of repairs of appliances and wiring in the event of power surges. Protection plans can also send a plumber to your home if your pipes leak or drains clog or an electrician if your wiring frays.
