What is Direct Energy?

Direct Energy is a retail energy provider operating in the deregulated energy markets in 14 states and Washington, D.C. Founded in 1986 in Toronto, it now provides electricity, natural gas or energy solution to four million customers in the United States and Canada.

Direct Energy not only supplies energy but is involved in its generation and mining, with ownership of gas reserves and power plants. It also has long-term purchase agreements with five wind farms in Texas, with a total capacity of 813 MW wind power, and supplies its customers with a percentage of green electricity.

What services does Direct Energy offer?
